TESTIMONIALS

“Sam lives and breathes theatre. Anthony Drewe and I met him when he knocked on the door of our studio in West London as an 18-year old and announced "I've come over from Finland, because I want to direct the Finnish premiere of your show Honk!" How could we refuse? He mounted a wonderful production, which we duly attended and we became good friends. Since then, we've watched him hone his skills as a considerable musical theatre star, become the "go to" voice-over artist for Disney's Finnish movie releases and now follow his ultimate dream to become a first rate director. In my experience, Sam can do anything he sets his mind to - and do it brilliantly. So if he knocks on your door - say "yes"!”
George Stiles, Composer / Writer

“The first thing about Samuel that comes to mind is his bravery. When he first started dancing as a young boy, he was brave enough to be exactly who he is and do what he loves. After collaborating in various professional productions later on, I still think that bravery, passion for musical theatre and belief to endless possibilities is combined in a unique way in this man. There is only one Samuel Harjanne in this world!”

He carries with his experience not only the talents of being an experienced actor, but is additionally an intuitive musician. His musicality combined with his background in MT makes him sympathetic to the needs of actors and singers, and gives his work a deeper meaning and understanding, that is crucial in musical theatre. His talents combined with his professionalism and his warm personality make his work unique and a thrill to be part of. Cannot recommend him highly enough!”

“I first met Samuel at the auditions for the musical ‘Spring Awakening’. His singing was extraordinarily beautiful, and he was capable of moving an audience deeply. The next time we worked together was in the musical ‘Striking 12’. I learned that Samuel could also play a mean piano. I firmly believe there is much in Samuel yet to be discovered.”
